Workplace Training and Assessment

We continue to receive feedback from students and employers about the disappointing outcomes of the new TAE40122.
As we know, the TAE40122 is one of the most intensive and condensed Certificate IV qualifications. It requires a large level of effort in ‘text and task complexities’ of the foundation skills, as well as the learner’s assessment workload.
When keeping up to date with the TAE workload and assessment deadlines, learners can easily fall behind.
- Examples of the feedback we have received include, but are not limited to:
- Trainers and assessors who complete the course do not demonstrate the skills and knowledge of VET as reflected on their transcripts.
- Trainers and assessors are creating compliance auditing issues for the RTO.
- Trainers and assessors used generative AI to complete their assessments for them when they did the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Trainers and assessors are still operational under the TAE40110, lacking in knowledge and skills.
- Trainers and assessors obtained their TAE from an unethical provider.
Our refresher workshop is designed to address various gaps in skills and knowledge that the TAE qualification may not have delivered.
Here is a fantastic opportunity to ensure that your trainers and assessors are abreast of assessment obligations and correctly represent your RTO.
