Assessment Practices in an RTO

This course delivers essential knowledge of the application of the principles of assessment, rules of evidence, and correct assessment tool design and applications. 

In the world of VET consultancy, one of the many repetitive issues we deal with in compliance for RTOs is the many examples of non-compliance with assessment processes. This is often reported to us after audits conducted by ASQA, industry regulators, and government funding bodies. Non-compliances have detrimental effects on the RTO’s business operations, reputations, and government funding opportunities.

The course is beneficial to all VET assessors as well as compliance personnel to ensure ethical and compliant assessment practices of RTO Standards 2025, Australian Core Skills Framework, Australian Quality Training Framework, and the Australian Qualifications Framework.
